B:K, is an artist born in 1999 in the Catalan Pyrenees. He started painting murals in 2018, self-taught and combining it with his university studies in 3D Animation and Visual Effects in Universitat Ramon Llull Barcelona.
With the arrival of covid-19 he began to carry out oil paintings, leaving aside drawing and spraypaint, and focusing exclusively on color, brushwork and painting. Since 2021, in his figurative murals made with emulsion paint, he instinctively improvises from the sketch, where he gives it a plausible finish, but with a touch of surrealism or «aura» that distances it from reality. All of this surprises the viewer wherever he paints because he never knows what the next mural will look like, but he can be recognized by the themes he deals with in his works.
The main themes of his work are often what he calls «love in the filth», finding beauty in what at first glance seems dirty, ugly and overburdened. It produces images of great visual impact where we always find some «magical» character or component that catches our attention. As he lives surrounded by mountains and nature, his palette includes earthy and desaturated colors, this allows him to paint in places surrounded by nature where his works are integrated into the environment.

Autodidacta y con formación en animación 3D, B:K crea murales donde lo clásico y lo urbano se encuentran.
Murales que cuentan historias
He desarrollado un estilo inconfundible basado en el claroscuro y el uso expresivo del color. Mis murales representan escenas de amor tóxico, personajes callejeros y momentos cargados de emoción.
Cada trazo refleja movimiento, cada obra cuenta una historia. Mi pincelada suelta y vibrante da vida a imágenes que atrapan la mirada y transmiten sensaciones intensas.
